About Me:

Been around this town since I was a kid. Pretty much hate it and only my broad-based sense of humor keeps me smirking; always waiting to see WTF will happen next. Just 'cause it ain't right don't mean it ain't funny.

Interests:

Reading, writing entertain the wordsmith in me. I enjoy backpacking/camping and the great outdoors. I'm a water sign (Pisces) so it's only natural that I love the ocean-offshore sailing's a rare, welcome treat. I like local history, biology, botany and zoology. I love trivia-I especially enjoy kicking ass on unwitting Jeopardy contestants. Phrasing my answer in the form of a question, however, is what keeps me a humble man. Ooooh, and I have two cats-Mickie and Ripper.

Favorite Music:

Old, school, stuff, you, might, have, heard, in, the, 70's, and, 80's, on, FM, mega-stations, like, KLOS, and, KMET.

Favorite Movies:

Airplane, Pulp Fiction, any kind of Zombie flick, Meet the Fockers, Holy Grail, Meaning of Life and Life of Brian, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shining, Stripes, What About Bob?, Dances with Wolves, The Great Santini, TunnelVision and the Groove Tube. Lots of others, too. (I'm a movie buff, so its hard to choose.)

Favorite TV Shows:

Not much-Jeopardy, of course, NHRA Drag Racing Events, The Family Guy, local news, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, and COPS, (for the examples of criminal stupidity-and how to not get caught!) Almost any nature shows, but Crockdile Hunter's getting a bit stale. Also BGlack Sky-the documentary about private industry's space race.

Favorite Books:

Old enough to've enjoyed all of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s works, Slaughterhouse 5 and Breakfast of Champions especially, Richard Brautigan's Wampeters, Foma and Granfalloons, also his Trout Fishing in America. The Walls of Windy Troy- about archeologist Heinrich Schiemann.
